Edge Of Freedom - Barren World

 

在東方思想家著作「莊子-逍遙遊」中
對於人生主張一種逍遙自由的生活態度，
觀摩其文而生其義！

然而在當時或現今現實中都很難去定義所謂的真正〝自由〞，

在這套作品畫面中都有自由的因子與限制的現實元素同時存在著，
矛盾卻又併存的氛圍！

我藉由它們來表達我對自由的一種看法：【自由是一種心態，而非是一種狀態】。


 

Freedom” is presented by this Conceptual Photography Series. 

Freedom has once described as an attitude of lifestyle, 
which is unrestricted and enjoyable,
from the great masterpiece of Chinese Philosophy - 
“Enjoyment in Untroubled Ease (written by Zhuangzi).” 

What is true freedom?
It is difficult to define an absolute meaning of “freedom”
suits everyone from the past to present.
For me, the idea of “freedom” 
is arose from our mind spontaneously,
but not an actual status happened in our life. 

In this photography series,
an unrestricted factor and a limited factor are simultaneously
existing in every photography.
The contradictory elements are presented in the same figure.
